Fiddle Leaf Fig Propagation Series PART 3 In this video we take our two fiddle leaf fiddle cuttings and plant them in soil. They were propagated a little over two months ago (almost 10 weeks). Once the Fiddle Leaf develops dense roots I transplant them to soil in a small to medium sized pot. I cover about half of the stem with soil so that it stays upright. I fill the pot with soil almost to the top leaving about a half inch at the top of the pot. I water the Fiddle Leaf Figs with 4 cups of water initially to really soak the new roots. After that I typically water anywhere from 1-2 cups per week. In my experience Fiddle Leaf Figs do best with bright indirect sunlight.
