Fiddle Leaf Fig Propagation Series PART 4 with Moody Blooms! In this video we update you on our two Fiddle Leaf Fig (also known as Ficus Lyrata) cuttings. They were planted in soil almost 8 months ago. Prior to that our Fiddle Leaf Fig cuttings were in water for approximately 2 months. Once the Fiddle Leaf Fig cuttings are in soil I typically water anywhere from 1-2 cups of water every 1-2 weeks. In my experience Fiddle Leaf Figs do best with bright indirect sunlight. Especially cuttings that are still developing new roots. We also compare our cutting that has been growing for 2.5 years and my original 5 year olf Fiddle Leaf Fig plant that is still growing nice and healthy.
