Lebanon surprised me in the most unexpected way. While exploring the snowy mountains of Lebanon, I suddenly found myself stuck in the middle of a forest with no transport and freezing temperatures all around. ❄️ After waiting for a long time, only one truck passed through the snowy road, and that moment turned into one of the most memorable travel experiences of my journey. I hitchhiked on the truck and rode through the beautiful mountain roads to reach the next town. During this journey, I also experienced something very unique about Lebanon — the difference between Muslim and Christian towns, their culture, lifestyle, and the warm hospitality of the people. Despite the cold weather and difficult situation, the kindness of the locals made this adventure unforgettable. Lebanon’s mountains are breathtaking, especially in winter, and this trip showed me how friendly and helpful people can be even in remote places.
