Two beautiful mountain passes for the effort of one. An offer that is difficult to resist. Especially when it is in the enchanting Dolomites. There are few places like the Dolomites that offer so many scenic mountain passes within a short radius. And Passo Valparola is one of the most beautiful of them all. It is very popular with Giro d’Italia and the famous sportive Maratona dles Dolomites. Luckily this mountain pass has three approaches so there is no excuse not to climb this pass more than once. On this climb, you take the southern approach from Digonera. It is a pleasant climb with some variation. Right before you get to Passo Falzarego you can enjoy some extremely beautiful views of the mountains, and it just gets better and better the higher you go. The last climb from Falzarego to Valparola is steep but stunning. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride... We have left the original sound of the ride out. This is because the noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider's breathing drowns the natural sound of the surroundings.
