Upon riding along Mill Point Road on a bus I noticed there was some tram on display outside, so I quickly got off just to see what it is. There were a lot of information boards there but I didn't have time to read and explain them in the video but this is just so you can see what it looks like. The tram is a restored version of the tram that ran the last ever route 29 tram service through South Perth on the 10th of June 1950, driven by the same driver who drove the first one too! The route was a vital connection between the ferries operating on the Swan River and the rest of the tram network (hence the name ferry tram). However, soon most tram routes were replaced by trolleybuses or just normal buses, leaving us with no tram lines today.
