SUAM NA MAIS is a type of Filipino corn soup originated from the province of Pampanga in the Philippines. My version is consists of white corn mixed with yellow corn to add color and sweetness. Is it normally served as an appetizer or main dish partnered with fried fish. Serve it while steaming hot. Ingredients: 1 thumb-sized ginger 4 cloves of garlic 1 medium-sized onion 5 pcs chicken wings 3 tbsp fish sauce 1/2 tsp ground pepper corn kernels from 2 white corn & 1 yellow corn 5 & 1/2 cup of chicken stock grated corn kernels from 1 white corn 1 bunch of chili leaves Enjoy watching & happy cooking!
