A group of complainants appeared at the Brekete Family studio to report an alleged shop rent fraud involving a plaza under construction in Lokogoma, Abuja. According to their account, while searching for shops, they stopped at the plaza and were directed by workers to a phone number displayed on a signboard as the contact person in charge. After contacting the person, identified as Chief Ejindu. The complainants claim that ₦9 million was paid in total for two shops. After payment, communication allegedly stopped, and all efforts to reach him have been unsuccessful. ⚠️ All claims remain allegations and are subject to investigation.
