This crossing has the only remaining examples of halogens on this busier, two-track section of the line, and is otherwise vastly un-changed since its conversion from un-gated in 2005, still with by far the loudest alarms of any crossing on the line (outside of 'second stage / another train coming' sequences). This is one of the more remote level crossings on the line, and is on a fast country road. In this video, it is seen activating for the first train of the day towards Hythe, worked by 'Green Goddess' which is one of the railway's numerous 1/3 sized full working steam locomotives.
