We take the Renfe train for an hour from Valencia Spain to Xativa Spain then walk the 1.5 miles up to the Castle for an amazing experience. To walk all around and visit the upper and lower parts of the castle took us about 1.5 to 2 hours including taking a 15 minute break for lunch (that we brought since we are on a budget) - there were several picnic areas in the castle. The history of this castle was incredible - glad we made a video so we could go back and watch again as there is so much information and views to digest.
