Mossarium || Moss Terrarium

This is a moss terrarium or mossarium built with a piece of driftwood and some leftover moss that I had. I sterilised the piece of driftwood in boiling water before proceeding with the build ,something that I usually do. After I decided on a front of the jar and the placement of the wood I used aquascaping glue to attach some sphagnum moss to the driftwood. This was a simple moss only build so instead of doing my usual layering of gravel, charcoal and substrate I went straight ahead with a lava rock bottom and a layer of browned out ( not dead) Shpagnum moss on top of it. I carefully placed the piece of driftwood and completed the scene with Hypnum moss in the background and Sphagnum moss in the foreground. I also added pine bark pieces, thin branches and some tiny plants ( Fern and Hydrocotyle tripartita) to the scape. Finally I added springtails and closed it up. I really like how it looks.
