The Seomjin and Yeongsan rivers are located in the southwest corner of South Korea. There are bike routes along both rivers (150+130km) and a connecting path (25km) where they meet in the north. Mokpo in the southeast has good connections (bus, train, plain, ferry) and is also the starting point for the Yeongsan River Route. There are also intercity bus terminals close to the other ends of the two routes. The trip was made with light packing during a week in early April when you can expect cherry blossoms and sunny, warm spring weather.
