In this 'On The Blue Couch' episode, I caught up with Refilwe Mogorosi, an internal audit manager at Absa Group. Refilwe is an experienced Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with a demonstrated history of work in the financial services industry, having exposure to Corporate Investment Banking and Asset Finance, specifically. She has a Master's degree in Internal Auditing from the University of Pretoria and serves on the Johannesburg Regional Committee of the Institute of Internal Auditors. We spoke about her initial aspirations of wanting to attain the designation of a chartered accountant and how she ended up as an auditor instead. She also touched on her experience of working in the South African financial services industry and how she navigates the space as a woman, a person of colour and an introvert.
