Tor des Geants is a 330km ultra marathon in the Italian Alps. Follow my adventure as I race one of the most challenging ultra marathons in the world. With 330km and over 25,000 meters of elevation gain (210 miles and 80k ft) on single tracks in the Italian Alps, TOR330 is widely recognized as one of the most challenging mountain ultra marathon in the world. The course covers countless mountain passes and traverses the Aosta Valley. The trail is rocky, steep, and technical. Given the high altitude of the course and that the race occurs in early September, this race is notoriously challenging not only for the physical aspect, but also the bad weather and potential snow storm in the high mountain. The race had to be stopped in the past due to weather. This year was no exception - the weather was mostly bad. With a lot of cold rain and snow, it's fair to say this was my most challenging yet rewarding experience on trails. What's next? 2025 is an exciting race.
