I don't know why I still haven't really gotten into projecting after climbing for two and a half years now. Distractable I guess. I just wanna climb everything. But I think I'm at the point where if I want to see consistent measurable progression, I'm going to have to do things consistently so I can adjust and measure ie. project aka do things over and over and OVER. And here's the kicker - It's fun. It reminds me of the trials of skateboarding; attempting a trick sometimes hundreds of times over the course of a few weeks just to get it once... and then repeating it over and over until you have it dialed. And then it's just fun to do. In fact... that's how you learn anything in skateboarding. So I'm bringing the practice to climbing. And wow, it's just opened up so many doors in terms of what I believe I'm capable of doing. Stoked to see how much further I'll be able to push my climbing limits with the power of repetition.
