Vlog #1 has us on a cross-country journey for Easter that started with a flight to drop my daughter off for Spring Break in Florida. Things take a turn when I realize I've forgotten to hand off her ID so she can fly home next week. We stop off at a post office after arriving in New Orleans to spend a long weekend eating (it so happens to be Easter). See New Orleans through some good food - watch us have dinner at Maypop, a Louisiana-inspired Asian fusion restaurant with awesome flavors and menu. Throughout this trip, I had horrendous tooth pain (thanks, potentially failed dental crown) but embrace the philosophy of enjoying the eating through the pain. I'd rather do that than not eat and wonder what I missed out on eating in the Big Easy. Unexpected situations and struggles always happen, but our goal is to savor every bite and travel easy with no agenda except, "what's for dinner?"
