Simple and Delicious Chicken Biryani| Aasan aur testy Chicken biryani kaise banatehai 750 g chicken 750 g rice 4–5 onions (sliced) Whole spices Mint leaves Coriander leaves Tomatoes 2 tsp garam masala 2 tsp Byadgi chili powder (Bedgi powder) 2 tsp coriander powder Oil Salt (as per taste) Step 1: Fry the onions Take a large pot and add oil. Add sliced onions and fry them until they become golden brown. Keep some fried onions aside for garnish. Step 2: Cook the chicken masala In the same pot add the chicken pieces. Add chopped tomatoes, mint leaves and coriander leaves. Add 2 tsp garam masala, 2 tsp Byadgi chili powder and 2 tsp coriander powder. Add salt as per taste and mix well. Cook for about 10–15 minutes until the chicken is half cooked. Step 3: Boil the rice Take another pot and add water. Add whole spices and salt. When the water comes to a boil, add the rice. Cook the rice until it is about 70–80% cooked and then drain the water. Step 4: Layer the biryani Spread the cooked chicken masala evenly in the pot. Add the half-cooked rice on top. Sprinkle fried onions, mint leaves and coriander leaves over the rice. Step 5: Dum (final cooking) Cover the pot with a tight lid and cook on low flame for about 15–20 minutes so the rice and chicken cook together and absorb the flavors. Step 6: Serve Gently mix the biryani and serve hot.
