✅ Sun Point is a 1.9-mile out-and-back trail near East Glacier Park Village, Montana. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 46 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and walking, but you can still enjoy solitude during quieter times. 📍 This family-friendly route takes you past the turn-off to Baring Falls to a point overlooking St. Mary Lake. Towering mountains rise on all sides of you, and you'll look out on a beautiful blue lake. This smooth gravel trail also often has wildflowers blooming beside it during summer. There are restrooms near the trailhead. ✅ Baring Falls is a small waterfall that drops through the water-carved gorge. Baring Creek feeds the falls. You'll be able to feel the mist of the waterfall at high flows as you approach it. This trail offers shade on a hot day and can be more relaxed than other trails because of the falls.
