Living with and surviving Addison's Disease means I only show half of myself, on a regular basis, in order to fit in with the world around me. In order to make others comfortable. In order to survive. I also prefer no one ever make an excuse for me. I've found it's not actually possible to show all of myself and exist in this society. This song resonated with me deeply and was the only one that made me feel after choreographing six combos, to six different songs. That's what I go for with every new song. A feeling. Maybe it's because it's a gorgeous song. Maybe it's because after surviving another horrific near death adrenal crisis on October 2, 2022, I'm done hiding. God gets the glory. So grateful for this moment. Grateful for life. Don't take it for granted. Ania, I will never forget this moment with you. To every dancer in this class, and to every dancer in my Army, I love you.
