Day 13 at Copper Mountain and it’s one of those classic Colorado bluebird days ☀️—perfect skies, unreal views… but the snow conditions aren’t quite there yet. Coverage is thin, patchy, and icy, so this wasn’t a day for pushing speed or laying down full trench carves. Instead, I focused on control, edge awareness, and clean technique. I’m actively working on getting lower in my carve, and while I’m seeing real improvement, I know I still need to get much lower and more compact to really lock it in. Days like this are all about progression, not perfection. Even when conditions aren’t ideal, every lap is a chance to refine fundamentals and build consistency for when the snow finally fills in.
