Welcome to my Race Strategy Guide for Daily Race C 5/12/22 around Sardegna - Road Track A on Gran Turismo 7 This Daily Race features Gr.4 cars around Sardegna - Road Track A with mandatory Racing Soft and Racing Medium Tyres. Tyres - X7 Fuel - X2 STRATEGY TLDR; Start the race on Racing Soft Tyres, pit on lap 6 for Racing Medium Tyres not fuel saving required, select ‘DO NOT REFUEL’ at the pit stop. The car I will be using for this Race: Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 The Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 is currently one of the strongest cars in Gr.4 in my opinion. It feels very stable to drive through high speed and low speed corners and has decent top speed. The 4WD cars in Gr.4 are ridiculously strong compared to RWD cars. Alfa, Subaru and Nissan GTR are the top picks and any of them will work for this track. If you want to mix it up with some RWD cars the Ferrari 458 Gr.4 and the McLaren 650S Gr.4 will be decent options in terms of pace but not sure how they will go on tyre wear. This race doesn’t really require tyre management, just go all out at the start of the race and the Soft Tyres will last between 5 and 6 laps. Lap 2 will be your fastest lap of the race so try to get the most out of it. Lap 3 to 6 the tyres will start to fade off, if you try to go one more lap you will lose a lot of time. The Racing Medium Tyres don’t feel to bad, there is definitely a grip difference but its not substantial so you should have decent pace even on the Medium Tyres. Sardegna Road Track is definitely one of the better fake tracks and is a very technical track especially the A layout. It will take some time to get used to but once you do its definitely a rewarding track to drive around in Gr.4 cars. I did a custom race with the same settings as the Daily Race for testing reasons and to get a clean race without being hit off. I have the Traction Control set to level 0 for this Video but that’s personal preference and you can choose whatever setting you want, although having it set higher will cost you time so its worth getting used to a low level of Traction Control or turning it off all together would be even better. I also show my steering and pedal inputs via a couple of cameras to show my inputs if that interests you.
