Welcome to my Race Strategy Guide for Daily Race C 12/12/22 around Circuit de la Sarthe on Gran Turismo 7 This Daily Race features Gr.1 cars around Circuit de la Sarthe with mandatory Racing Medium Tyres. The car I will be using for this race: Porsche 919 Hybrid Gr.1 BOP - ON Laps - 5 Tyres - X4 Fuel - X7 STRATEGY TLDR; Conserve fuel, DO NOT PIT on this track, the time loss is to substantial. To save the fuel required to get to the end of the race short shift at 40-50% revs but keep the fuel in setting 1. If you’re using an Automatic Transmission then you will need to change the fuel setting to 2 or 3. Always short shift out of corners for fuel saving as well as keeping the car from spinning out. This race will be very tight on fuel so it might take some practice but if you short shift at 40-50% the entire race you shouldn’t have any problems getting to the end. If you're sitting behind somebody on a long straight and getting a good slip stream you could save even more fuel by changing the fuel setting to 1 or 2, this will help out a lot but if you're in the lead or have nobody within slip stream range then you will need to stick to the fuel saving requirements that I have recommended. Be careful for dirty air when following a car closely, especially when your going through the last sector, a lot of it can be taken flat out when you're not following a car but if you are you might have understeer so keep that in mind. The Porsche 919 Hybrid is a no brainer for this race, it has much better downforce than any other Gr.1 car while having the power we need, its also decent at fuel saving and will get you to the end without a stop. On Lap 1 and 2 the car will feel a little bit heavy to drive because of the full tank of fuel but as you burn it off from lap 3 onwards the car will start to feel lighter and lighter as the tank empties which will help you in the last sector of the lap and its a little bit easier on fuel in the last few laps because the car is lighter. Tyres won’t be an issue for this race. I did a custom race with the same settings as the Daily Race for testing reasons and to get a clean race without being hit off. I have the Traction Control set to level 0 for this Video but that’s personal preference and you can choose whatever setting you want, although having it set higher will cost you time so its worth getting used to a low level of Traction Control or turning it off all together would be even better. I also show my steering and pedal inputs via a couple of cameras to show my inputs if that interests you.
