Hultastenen - DNH (session 1)

IT IS ON. Last week I decided to put other projects on hold and concentrate on the extension of “luftig kö till nålens öga”. Yesterday (11/13/23) I went back to Vinslöv after work to find my beta for the beginning. The minimum goal of the day was to get into the starting position of "öga". I knew the conditions were less than ideal, and after my first warm-up move, I again developed a large cut on my left ring finger. Using Carl's video, I figured I could easily copy his beta and even tweak it slightly for my strengths. (In the beginning, leave the right heel instead of switching to the toe hook) The drizzle slowly turned into heavier rain and so far my climb was full of mistakes. Just as I decided to leave, Simon Bohlin reached a new high point in Kusin Vitamin and I felt motivated to give one more push as well. Flawless this time, I made it to the pebble and my feeling of being far away from that climb changed big times. It feels very close. A little more endurance, a little more fine-tuning. I will go back this week. So stay tuned for the next update.
