Cruise Passengers Must Do! Don't miss a thing.

The top deck of a bus is the best way to see Ålesund. We take a Hop-on Hop-off bus from the Cruise Terminal round all the main sights in Ålesund. With stops at Sunmore Museum, Aksla Mountain, several in Ålesund city centre and the Atlantic Sea Park, you get to see every major sight. Being able to get off at any stop and catch a later bus to continue is great. See the whole route from the front of the top deck in lovely weather. We visited in early September 2025 and were very lucky with the weather in our 2nd time in Ålesund (we were lucky the first time as well). Ålesund is our very favourite city in Norway, it's just beautiful in a stunning location. This is just a part of our epic trip around the Southern third of Norway this September - we travelled by ferry, bus and train, Stavanger, Bergen, Ålesund, Trondheim, Oslo, Kristiansand and back to Stavanger.
