It finally happened… My first ever Revelstoke powder day. After over 260cm of pre-season snowfall, the resort opened up November 29th and it was INSANE. The magic truly comes from the immense amounts of stoke from the community. So much so that people camped out over 24 hours before the gondola started spinning. When the taps turn on here, it’s truly something else. I consider myself pretty clueless in terms of pow day flow here, but there were no bad choices. Both the stoke and ripper chairs were absolutely awesome. Revelstoke is a natural playground and it’s already looking better than when I visited in the middle of last season. Yes it was worth the wait.
