The tournament will come to an end, and determine whether Ren gets his chance at the SWA Light-Heavyweight Championship! Blood Angel (ブラッドエンジェル) is tough, though. Many believe that he won’t just go down so easily. I mean he is one of SWA’s top workers. Ren however shouldn’t let the pressure get to him. He’s tough, too and it’d be best if Angel doesn’t take him lightly either. When the dust settles, the plan may be to go back to Japan. It’s home after all. If he can come back as a SWA champion, the higher offices of New Japan are surely to have big plans! Fail and… well, Ren can’t think like that. The only thing that matters is taking that title! [Character Info] Ren Kurohane is a young wrestler from Japan looking to make an impact on the scene. He’s someone who looks up to wrestlers like Liger, Ultimo Dragon, The Great Muta, and many others who have come before him. His American influences are Seth Rollins, Rey Mysterio, AJ Styles, Edge, and Chris Jericho. Finn Balor (Prince Devitt) is another great influence. So he has a ton of respect for the business. In the beginning he was considered optimistic, but later he became more ego driven. If given the chance he would definitely seize the opportunity to strike. Think of a grounded ROH high-flyer (a grounded flyer I know lol), mixed with that Japanese flair. Being a heel is where he truly shines I would say. In that mode he’s the “Black Falcon.” A methodical and cold ego maniac who believes “The skies belong to him.” Like, Share, Comment, and Subscribe! Episode Review/Thoughts: When it comes to the first matches in this episode I’m reminded that I have to slow down. The second match is paced a bit better, though. See, in all honesty the game is easy (even on the hardest setting), when you know the controls. But when you’re trying to “put on a show” is where it’s a little more complicated. You have to learn to pace yourself and give the CPU their time to shine. Dominating the whole match leaves the fans feeling unfulfilled and the game is really about giving the audience a great experience. I think I got lucky with the high match ratings because I hit my signature and finishing maneuvers multiple times while “selling” whatever the CPU was doing. And that may be all well and good for some people but for me I personally, I want my matches to look as realistic as possible. So when I miss a move, dive, or “work too hard” I’m partially irritated lol. Plus it doesn’t get much better from here lol. I still make mistake in future episodes (because all of them are basically recorded already), but hey lol. The more you play, the more you learn. [Match Evaluations] Vs.
