What does an inclusive future for Rivers State look like? As part of the Rivers 2050 Vision, we hosted a Key Informant Interview with Mrs. Bitebo Gogo, Founder and Volunteer Executive Director of the KIR Foundation, to discuss the future of inclusion in Rivers State. This conversation focuses particularly on disability inclusion, accessibility, and equitable participation in governance, education, and economic life. The discussion explores the current gaps in inclusion, the barriers faced by persons with disabilities, and the policy and cultural shifts needed to ensure that no one is left behind as Rivers State plans for the next 25 years. The Rivers 2050 Vision is a citizen-led initiative coordinated by Policy Shapers and powered by young leaders working to co-create a long-term development blueprint for Rivers State. Key themes discussed include: • Disability inclusion and accessibility • Representation and leadership opportunities • Institutional reforms for equity • The role of civil society in inclusive development • What an inclusive Rivers State could look like by 2050 Learn more about the project: www.Rivers2050.org #Rivers2050Vision #DisabilityInclusion #InclusiveDevelopment #FutureOfRivers #Rivers2050
