Dr. Florent Trouillas reviewed the main symptoms of red leaf blotch disease in almond, including seasonal progression. He presented elements of the pathogen’s biology, including the disease cycle, the main spore types, and inoculum sources. He also described the seasonal dynamics of sporulation and host susceptibility. Finally, the presentation covered disease management strategies, including cultural practices, fungicide efficacy, and optimal timing of fungicide applications. The webinar was recorded on February 18, 2026 and targeted to growers and pest management professionals.
