Raag Gauri Chaetee ~ ਸੁਖੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਬਿਨਾ .. ਰਾਗੁ ਗਉੜੀ ਚੇਤੀ ਰਾਗੁ ਗਉੜੀ ਚੇਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ਸੁਖੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਬਿਨਾ ॥ ਜੀਤਿ ਜਨਮੁ ਇਹੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਅਮੋਲਕੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਜਪਿ ਇਕ ਖਿਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਸੁਤ ਸੰਪਤਿ ਬਨਿਤਾ ਬਿਨੋਦ ॥ ਛੋਡਿ ਗਏ ਬਹੁ ਲੋਗ ਭੋਗ ॥੧॥ ਹੈਵਰ ਗੈਵਰ ਰਾਜ ਰੰਗ ॥ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਚਲਿਓ ਹੈ ਮੂੜ ਨੰਗ ॥੨॥ ਚੋਆ ਚੰਦਨ ਦੇਹ ਫੂਲਿਆ ॥ ਸੋ ਤਨੁ ਧਰ ਸੰਗਿ ਰੂਲਿਆ ॥੩॥ ਮੋਹਿ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਜਾਨੈ ਦੂਰਿ ਹੈ ॥ ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦਾ ਹਦੂਰਿ ਹੈ ॥੪॥ There is no peace and contentment without devotion to Lord Waheguru. One attains the priceless jewel of this human life, by meditating on Him in the company of holy men, even for an instant. Many have renounced and left their children, wealth, spouses, worldly joy and pleasures. All the worldly comforts and pleasures of power - leaving these behind, the fool must depart naked. The body, scented with musk and sandalwood - that body shall come to roll in the dust ultimately. Infatuated with emotional attachment, they think that God is far away. Says Nanak, he is Ever-present !
