The Greenford to Osterley walk is a popular Sunday excursion for those looking to get some fresh air and explore the beautiful green spaces around London. This scenic route takes you through the heart of West London, along the Grand Union Canal and past some of the area's most stunning parks and gardens. The walk starts in Greenford, a charming suburban area known for its tranquil streets and greenery. From here, the trail takes you along the Grand Union Canal, offering picturesque views of the water and the surrounding countryside. NOTA: Take the first train after 10.15am (departs at 10:33am at time of writing) from Paddington Station and change at West Ealing for the train to Greenford. Journey time around 30 minutes. On Sundays, there is no British Rail train service, but Greenford station can also be reached by London Underground. The return to London is by tube from Osterley.
