Crossing Mostviertel in 11 days in September 2022

Already planned for last year but postponed due to Margit’s injury we finally were able to do our hike across our beloved Mostviertel. And what an amazing journey it was for both of us through the tiniest villages and most beautiful landscapes! Starting at Sonntagberg we hiked the Panorama Road to Hochkogel, via St. Leonhard am Walde to Ybbsitz, followed the Eisenstraße (Iron Road) to Maria Seesal and continued to Lunz am See, hiked up to Maißzinken summit and finally did some of Mostviertel's highest peaks (Kleiner Ötscher, Ötscher via Rauher Kamm, Gemeindealpe, Bürgeralpe) before reaching our final destination Mariazell, very happy how much we enjoyed our time together and very content with what we achieved on our tour.
