In early 2026, social media posts went viral claiming that CCTV footage of women inside hospitals was being sold online as porn. However, investigations show that the hacking and leaks had actually started in early 2024 and were exposed through police action in 2025. The case first came to public attention when short teaser clips titled “Megha MBBS” and “cp monda” were uploaded on YouTube. These videos showed women in private medical situations inside a maternity hospital in Rajkot, Gujarat. Women were seen in labour rooms, breastfeeding in wards, changing clothes before surgery, lying in ICUs, and even during childbirth. At first, many believed someone had secretly filmed the videos inside the hospital. But later, journalists and police found that the footage was taken directly from the hospital’s CCTV cameras. The camera angles matched fixed CCTV positions, and system logs showed suspicious log-ins over several months. This revealed that the hospital’s CCTV system had been hacked. Further investigation uncovered a much bigger network. Hackers had accessed nearly 80 CCTV systems across at least 20 states in India. These included hospitals, clinics, schools, homes, malls, offices, and factories. Around 50,000 private video clips were reportedly collected. Police found that many CCTV systems were still using default usernames and passwords like “admin123,” making them easy targets. The main accused, Parit Dhamelya, along with others including Prajwal Teli, Praj Patil, and Chandraprakash Phoolchand, used technical tools to scan public IP addresses, break into systems, and access live camera feeds remotely. They used VPNs to hide their real locations and make it appear as if the log-ins were coming from foreign countries. The hackers allegedly uploaded teaser clips on YouTube to attract viewers and then sold full videos through private Telegram channels for amounts ranging from ₹700 to ₹4,000 per clip. Cybercrime teams conducted raids in early 2025 and arrested the key accused within days of the FIR being filed. The case has raised serious concerns about digital safety in India, especially in hospitals and other institutions handling sensitive spaces. Authorities have urged all organisations to immediately change default passwords and strengthen their CCTV security systems. Investigations are still ongoing, and efforts are being made to remove the leaked videos from online platforms. #LeakedVideo #PrivateVideo #Privacy #Telegram #BreakingNews #CCTV #Hospital #BreakingNews #Deaf #DeafCommunity #IndiaSigningHands #ISH #ISHNews #ISL #IndianSignLanguage #SignLanguage ISH News broadcasts the Daily News and Entertainment online in Deaf-friendly accessible formats which are in Indian Sign Language (ISL), visual images with titles, voice-over and closed-captions.
