We got away to #HellsGateStatePark in Lewiston, ID for our last camping trip of 2020 in our Lance travel trailer. We will show you around the #LewisandClarkVisitorCenter which is at the park as well as some hiking options along the Snake River in Clarkston, WA. We also take a look at the #HellsGateMarina for Snake River Adventures, where we hope to arrange a jet boat trip sometime in the near future. Hells Gate Campground has 3 loops, we stayed in the Aspen Loop. The Hells Gate Campground has many amenities such as a swimming area, marina, outdoor amphitheater, large grass area and the Lewis and Clark Visitor Center. Bring you bikes as there are a few bike trails that go along the Snake River in both Lewiston, ID and Clarkston, WA. We saw no actual snakes in October. Cabins are available in the loop B. Hells Gate Campground is located behind trees so the river view is obstructed. There were some mule deer in the campground but we didn’t capture on video. Weather is normally warmer in this area with a more desert climate. Cell phone access was great so even got a little work done.
