SmolVLA Experiment: Changing the Background

I test Hugging Face’s SmolVLA model using the SO-101 robotic arm to see how it reacts when the environment changes. I trained the model on 50 episodes of stacking blocks, where it only ever saw a single background — the color of my desk. After about 30,000 training steps, the model performs well under the original conditions. But what happens if we change the background?
