Beautiful Katoomba Cascades is only 5min walk from the closest carpark - Blue Mountains

The Katoomba Cascades area has a dedicated car park along Cliff Drive, there are limited parking spots here so I have given you another 2 options in this video. We parked at Lilianfels Park as we came early for the Echo Point Lookout and time to track down to the Three Sisters, we were there at 7:30 am and the metering didn't start until 9pm so manage to do Echo Point Lookout with free parking. (be sure to check out our video on Echo Point , this would be the best view to the Three Sisters). We paid for one hour Au$8 so we can see Katoomba Cascades, It turned out to be a bit of a rush, we should have paid for 2hrs. Our phone GPS estimated 12 minutes walk to the cascade but it actually is slightly further. The walk wasn't too bad, just follow the Katoomba Falls sign through the park, on exit turn left, keep going until you see a motel on the right (parking here would be better) Just before the Motel turn left and down a steep road (its a bit of hike back up) then turn left at the Scenic World Sign mid way down the road. Head straight down between the dinosaur and the Scenic World entry. Go down the stairs and turn right, follow the Prince Henry Cliff Walk until you reach the dedicated Cascade car park and picnic area. The cascade is fantastic.There are stepping stones across the creek at the bottom of the falls and a bench seat in the shade where you can view the cascade. Take videos and photos from various angles you'll be amazed how beautiful they turn out. At this point we were in a rush to get back to the car. Would have love to explore further down the Prince Henry Cliff Walk track especially at night and Katoomba Falls. Will probably do this walk in the future.
