Harrowing 999 call following Manchester Arena bombing

A distressing 999 call to police made by a member of the public as he 'tended and comforted' a victim of the Manchester Arena bombing has been released as part of the public inquiry into the atrocity. Ronald Blake, who had gone to collect his daughter from the Ariana Grande concert, says with urgency 'many' were injured. Mr Blake, the inquiry was told, remained with victim John Atkinson, a stranger to him, for just short of an hour until paramedics took over. Mr Atkinson sadly lost his life - one of the 22 victims of the bombing in May, 2017. Read more: https://www.manchestereveningnews.co....
