In this walking tour, we explore Ubud after rain, when the town slows down and the mood becomes more peaceful. We start our walk on Monkey Forest Street, heading toward Ubud Town Square. From here, we turn left along Ubud Main Street and continue toward Kajeng Street. Many shops are beginning to close for the night, though a few traders are still open, serving late visitors. Next, we turn right into a small alley called Pucuk Alley, a quiet shortcut that leads to Suweta Street. We follow Suweta Street and enter the Ubud Palace area, where tourists are still taking photos and admiring the traditional Balinese architecture and ornaments. From Ubud Palace, we return via Ubud Main Street and continue to Karna Street. The market here is winding down, with traders preparing to head home and only a handful of tourists still browsing. We then walk along Dewisita Street, which feels noticeably quieter than usual, before entering Goutama Street. This street is well known for its romantic evening atmosphere. A few visitors are enjoying a gentle walk, while others are sitting down for dinner at the many cafés and restaurants that line the street.
