This afternoon, the streets feel moderately busy — lively enough, yet noticeably calmer than the usual Ubud crowds. We begin our walking tour at the intersection of Monkey Forest Street and Dewisita Street, making our way north towards Ubud Town Square, a popular spot where tourists often gather while waiting for their drivers. From there, we continue past the Ubud Art Market and walk towards Karna Street. Karna Street Market looks quieter than usual today, with only a few visitors browsing through the shops. After exploring this area, we return to Dewisita Street and follow it all the way to Hanoman Street. Next, we enter Goutama Selatan Street from the southern end. This street has a warm and romantic feel this afternoon, with the sky slowly turning orange as sunset approaches. The gentle light makes the ambience even more inviting as we walk through this charming lane. We then cross over to Goutama Street, which is slightly busier than the southern part. Here, more tourists can be seen wandering around, checking out the shops and cafes. This street usually comes alive at night when people head out for dinner, but even in the late afternoon it holds a relaxed energy. Finally, we end our walk at the main gate of Ubud Palace on Ubud Main Street. A peaceful and pleasant December afternoon walk through some of Ubud’s most iconic areas.
