Hello everyone. We wrap up our day in the small community of Emerald PA. The Lehigh Valley railroad ran through town on there way to slate interests in Slatedale PA. We will explore some more of the slatebelt in the upcoming weeks. Also in Emerald was the Lehigh Valley Transit company. The bridge remains still towering over Trout Creek. We also quickly look at the original road alignment bridge. The large fill that the road sits on was once not there and the Lehigh Valley railroad ran under both the trolley and road bridges as seen in the thumbnail picture of this video.
