Top business strategy speaker and author Scott McKain discusses his new book, “ICONIC” and how organizations can become truly notable, moving beyond success in their own industry. He tells Skip that all successful brands must first become distinctive to stand out from the competition. But then, to become iconic, they must provide a truly compelling customer experience. That level of success, he says, may depend on some counter-intuitive thinking. For example, he suggests that iconic companies focus on relationships rather than sales.
