Leran how to make the best Tabbouleh salad - fresh Lebanese salad packed with fresh herbs like parsley and mint and bulgur. ►Full written recipe: https://thecookingfoodie.com/recipe/t... ► Equipment I used in this video: https://www.amazon.com/shop/thecookin... ►FOLLOW ME: Instagram: / thecookingfoodie Facebook: / thecookingfoodie Website: https://www.thecookingfoodie.com/ INGREDIENTS For the salad: 1/2 cup (100g) Fine Bulgur wheat Water 2 batches Parsley, finely chopped (about 2 cups packed) Mint leaves, chopped 2 Tomatoes, finely chopped 1 Cucumber, finely chopped 2-3 Green onions, sliced For the dressing: 1/4 cup (60ml) Extra virgin olive oil 1/4 cup (60ml) Lemon juice Salt to taste Black Pepper to taste Directions: 1. Prepare the bulgur: Place the bulgur wheat in a large bowl, and pour in water until it covers all the bulgur. Let it sit for about 15-20 minutes, or until the bulgur has absorbed the water and softened. Drain any excess water if necessary. 2. Chop the vegetables and herbs: While the bulgur is resting, finely chop the parsley and mint leaves. Dice the tomatoes and cucumbers, and slice the scallions. 3. Combine salad ingredients: in a large bowl combine softened bulgur, chopped herbs and vegetables. 4. Prepare Tabbouleh Salad dressing: in a small bowl or a jar combine lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and mix well. 5. Serve: pour the dressing over the salad, mix well and serve.
