𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗕𝗬: 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗖 ***************** Date: 20th january 2026 Time: 10:00 AM Situation Report: Fire Containment Operation On the direction of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the Director General PDMA issued special instructions, and the Director Rescue is personally leading the fire containment operation on ground. A joint fire containment operation is currently underway involving PDMA, District Administration, Metropolitan Corporation Quetta (MCQ), and FC Balochistan. On-ground teams have successfully suppressed the fire at the ground floor and are actively engaged in extinguishing the fire at the first floor and basement. A total of 500x fire balls have been utilized so far, while an additional 500x fire balls have been mobilized to the incident site. All available PDMA rescue force personnel, fire tenders, and water bowsers are presently deployed and engaged in the operation. Furthermore, WASA is on board to ensure uninterrupted water supply. PDMA Balochistan is also coordinating with the Forest Department for additional water bowsers to facilitate on-spot refilling of fire trucks. In addition, SSGC and QESCO have been requested to suspend their respective services in the affected area as a precautionary measure.
