While in the previous seminars we solved some number of problems that deal with circles that touch, in this seminar and a couple of the next ones we will solve some number of problems that deal with circles that are orthogonal. As an opener, we solve a problem of constructing a circle that is orthogonal to a given circle and that passes through 2 given, fixed, distinct co-planar points. A solution of this problem that we will cover in this episode is based on the Theorem 39. As such, our viewers may want to refresh their memory and review that theorem before taking on this problem. In the next seminar we will solve a similar problem, a problem in which it is required to construct a circle that is tangent to 2 given, fixed, distinct co-planar circles and that passes through a given, fixed, co-planar point.
