DIY leg extension attachment for power cage/rack (repurposing old equipment to make something new)

I was inspired by ‪@KaizenDIYGym‬ 's video where he made a leg extension/curl attachment for his cage from basically scratch. Watch his video if you want a slightly more guided process for a build that's from scratch. My version is a lot less planned out and was done with the goal of using as much of what I had lying around my garage as possible, including repurposing a seated calf raise machine I no longer used. I made things up as I went and ended up with a mostly finished product that does the job. I'm happy with how it turned out and thrilled to be able to perform leg extensions once again. I have a small space to work with and a small budget. I hope this inspired you to get crafty and repurpose things in your gym that are no longer in use.
