#pikeypeak #solukhumbu Nepal boasts having 8 of the 14 eight thousander peaks in the world. And there’s a spot inside Nepal that offers the views of all those Himalayan Giants except Mt. Dhaulagiri. That amazing vantage point is Pikey Peak, which lies in the lower Solu Region. We were contacted by Nima Rinji Sherpa, our long time well wisher for the visit to Pikey Area. After connecting with Nawang Sherpa, Mama, we set out to Pikey right after the festival of Tihar. Pikey Trek is a short trek, doable within 5-7 days. But it has wowed us since day one. The sunset from Dhaap, the stay at Lumding and the views from Pikey Peak are out of this world.
