Oregon Back Country Discovery Route ORBDR-Part 1/2, Sections 1, 2, & 3

In August of 2023 we set out to ride the Oregon Back Country Discovery Route from south to north. We left Fields Station and set out into section #1. It had rained the two previous nights. As was well until we set out through the Hart Mountain Bypass as we had been told the Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge was closed which we later were told it was indeed open. The bypass was a muddy mess and very challenging, to say the least and the video shows somewhat. In sections 1, 2, and 3 there are challenging sections of silt and rock that take careful and mindful bike handling to stay upright and avoid flats.
