Vacay in Stockholm, Österskär Havsbad, Tom Tit’s Södertälje, Liljevalchs konsthall, Junibacken

We start off our vacation in a very active manner with trips to various places and museums in and around Stockholm. One day we just take a trainride to Österskär havsbad to hang out on the beach and go for fika at Café Solbrännan. Another day when the weather is rainy we take several trains to a town south of Stockholm called Södertälje to visit the Tom Tit's experiment museum where kids and of course also grown ups can learn doing various experiments. Another day we go to Stockholm city, take a short boat ride to Djurgården to go see an exhibition in Liljevalchs Art Hall. I really wanted to see the exhibition of the Swedish painter Karin Broos and my husband and kids liked here paintings as well. Afterwards we go to another kids place called Junibacken which is a mix of play spaces and exhibition. In the beginning when we had just arrived there was so many people the place seemed really stressfulle and chaotic. The highpoint is riding Sagotåget, the fairytale train, and it was so wonderful I was so moved that I cried at the end. We had some really good days at the begining of our vacation back home here in Sweden.
