This is my original song with a sound loop called Borgan 1 removed. The song does suck but someone is trying to steal it so I thought I'd document the underhanded tactics being used. I enjoy stuff like this. Here's the story: I had legally used the sound loop Borgan 1 in this song but now a company who does not own that sound loop is claiming ownership of it and has blocked my first version of this song world wide because of my use of the sound loop. I had disputed their claim of ownership but they reinstated the apparently fraudulent claim and at first tried to sell their music through my video by placing a link to their music. When I exposed them for this in the video description and video title they blocked my video world wide. Along with this video I uploaded a video consisting of only the sound loop Borgan 1 playing repeatedly in hopes that they would claim it even though it belongs to someone else. They did claim it so I deleted that video so as not to end up with a copyright strike by them. After all, they did apparently fraudulently hijack my first video of this song and then block it world wide to avoid looking like dick heads after I exposed them for hijacking it. It's pretty hard to trust someone who has done that already. Anyway, now that I have screen shot proof of the sound loop they are fraudulently claiming as grounds for blocking my first video of this song, I can proceed with the editing of the description of this video to further expose them for abducting my property. They can't block this video without a hell of a lot of trouble and fraudulent behavior. What would they say? "We would like this video blocked because he's exposing us for fraudulently stealing his other video."? That probably wouldn't work unless they had mega good connections and figured I didn't. So on with the show. The following is much of what was on the original blocked video. Apparently they assumed that by them blocking the other video world wide no one could read the following but they seem to be wrong. Submitted for your reading pleasure: Enjoy: -- See the link that says Buy "Koto"? They are fraudulently stealing my copyright. Actually they seem to be claiming copyrights to a commercially available sound loop called Borgan 1. This sound loop does not belong to them or to me, but we both seem to have used it in our songs. I did explain this to them but rather than drop their copyright claim, they reinstated it. So now that they are knowingly claiming copyrights to something that someone else owns I plan on making another song video consisting of nothing but the sound loop called Borgan 1. This should leave them with a bit of a problem because they will either have to claim copyrights to the new song with nothing but Borgan 1 or claim that they don't own the first song either. And as they would definitely know that they were fraudulently claiming copyrights to someone else's property, they couldn't say that they didn't know. And this would most likely leave them open to a mega law suit by the multinational company that actually does own Borgan 1 and really seems to want to prosecute all fraudulent copyright infringers. In short it appears that Pirames International Srl is claiming copyrights to a part of this song because it seems that a song they are handling has the same sound loop that I am using in this song. By doing this they are falsely claiming ownership of what is a previously copyrighted (by someone else) publicly sold and legal to use sound loop. On top of this, they seem to have missed the apparent fact that my song (the original video) was uploaded to youtube on January 25, 2011. The song that I am apparently infringing on (Maniaci -- Koto) was uploaded to youtube on May 14, 2012, a year and four months after my song. *A more accurate release date would be the following from Amazon dot com: Product Details Original Release Date: May 3, 2011 Label: Eden Records Copyright: (c) 2011 Dieffe Sas Di Franchi Alessandro Duration: 2:57 minutes This all could have been easily remedied if they had honored my legitimate challenge to their copyright claim. But instead, they reinstated the claim. This is a slap in the face especially as their song sounds nothing like mine and was published (3 months) after mine. So they're essentially first claiming ownership to someone else's publicly sold and legal to use sound loop. And second they're claiming that my song somehow used that portion of a song that was published (3 months) after my song was published. If you google "Pirames International Srl" you'll see that they seem to be fairly adept at this sort of thing. Especially with laying claim to public domain stuff. In other words... this seems to be business as usual for them. Common practice. Link to: Maniaci - Koto • Maniaci - Koto PS...
