This webinar features Professor Jean Adams (Professor of Dietary Public Health at the MRC Epidemiology Unit, Cambridge University), speaking about Systems Thinking for Public Health and Food Systems. Systems thinking is increasingly discussed in public health circles – often as something new or something with potential to achieve great change. In this talk, Professor Adams introduces systems thinking as she understands it, and discusses its similarities to, and differences from, more conventional approaches to understanding public health problems, identifying solutions, and evaluating interventions.
