It is truly a joy to play in many respects - very responsive, all the notes are there, and it is certainly built well. The notes all slot in quite nicely and it has a beautiful tone. This is a truly professional horn that certainly could get you to high level performance! This particular horn is in mint condition. It has only been lightly been played, and you can't see any evidence of that! It is nearly new. So you're basically buying a new horn but can skip the wait on a new one (I hear they have a good long wait time if you order one new) and you also get a little bit of a lower price (they are over $8,000 new as of now at least). So this is a great deal on a fantastic horn that will last a lifetime if cared for well! There is a barely noticeable crease in the bell (I can only see it in bright lights) so you should know about that, but this truly is nothing of concern. Because the horn is so new, there are things that make me think the horn needs to be played a bit to be 'broken in'. The valves are so tight that you can sometimes hear them interrupt the air when playing it. That said, it is not really noticeable when simply playing the horn and I think playing it will fix this over time. Otherwise this horn truly is perfect. It has been completely inspected (no adjustment or cleaning needed) in my shop, and is ready to to play! The original case is included as well as the paperwork and original grease/oils that came with the horn. Sadly I don't have the original mouthpiece, so no mouthpiece is included.
