Time for another cross-country flight in the A36 from Seattle to Nashua, NH and recording sessions at Pilot Workshops, which produces the IFR Mastery program. My first leg east is typically nonstop to Billings, MT, which gets me over all of the mountains in one flight. This video shows the arrival at Billings after flying T268, a route that closely follows I-90 and offers many options should you need to divert or want land before you reach Billings. I began the flight IFR to depart cloudy skies at Seattle, but as I approached Helena, I canceled IFR and switched to VFR flight following for the remainder of the leg to Billings.
